This is a huge event thought out by a couple of disc golf geniuses. I wish I lived in the SW. Play on your own schedule is a cool idea. Added cash and a 10,000+ course. WOW! A killer mini every Sunday afternoon. You can't beat that with disc retriever. Kudos to Neal and ERic. Birdshot will think of a way to raise some money for the Finals.

Can't wait to play the Links Largo. Heard it was a great course and will bring tons of discs. I have played the regular Links and I'm a huge fan. Everyone should play it and have fun (even though there is tons of water).

Rumor has it that a Mr. Jenkins is staying in Houston for a few days... Neal and Eric need to put out their feelers (whatever those may be) and get an event scheduled sometime between Tues and Thursday (when they head to Tulsa for that event.) It would be awesome to have as many golfers as possible playing / watching these big guns (Avery and Robbie) shooting it out on the Largo Links... Neal, call Robbie when you get a chance and let us know what's happenin'

I tried to play the Links Largo a few days ago and I liked how it looked. I played some of the course, but then I had to leave. The only problem I had was without a map it is hard to find the tee boxs.

Unless you've played there before any versions of the LINKS courses (red, blue, or white (LARGO)) are next to impossible to play without a map.
The maps are linked in this thread as well as posted on the DGCR course page (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=2576). Use a printed map to find the location of the tees which are marked with small bricks recessed in the ground.

Any Watchmen planning on being out this Saturday? There's no league at Brooks Sunday but I might be interested in going to that tournament in Victoria...if not, then I can make it Sunday at the Links.

Watchmen? People that watch and not play? Make rude remarks about your throws?:p I would like to play on Saturday as well. I prefer 1 pm on the Largo, but am flexible with the time and course. I do really need to get in a Largo round since Sunday is a Lil Links round and I plan on making that one for sure. If there are any postmen available on Saturday, please reply so we can workout a time. I will also go to the WLS website to check that out. What was that website address again?

Hello Postmen (and women!)....Would anyone like to meet me this Saturday (January 31) for a round on either course at any time? I don't have any to make up....just want to get in another qualifying round on either course (I've only got one game on The Largo, so I should probably play that one).

Per Neal's email on Jan 9, yes, seriously. Why would we kid you about that?
Also, the bonus/added cash for the March 28 WLS Finals is now up to $700!

2 rounds on the Lil' Links and 1 round on the Largo. Alot of people knocked out most of their rounds at the last Birdshot tourney. Neal was nice enough to let people pay/count those rounds for the series.

Two Lil' LINKS rounds and one LINKS Largo will make you eligible for the Finals. To qualify, i.e. make the cut, your scores must be good enough and your division must have enough rounds logged to make. MPO has enough rounds. For complete details see the InfoPack on Neal's site (http://home.comcast.net/%7Endambra/).

Qualify by the 1st? I thought we had longer than that. Like at least two weeks prior or something.

Per post #1 (http://hfds.org/vbull/showpost.php?p=2321&postcount=1) in this thread: March 1 [at 2pm] is the last chance to get in a qualifying round. You'll need two Lil' rounds and One Largo round by then.
The finals is March 28.

Ok slight Hyperbole and maybe it is just the lack of posters on the board that makes me think that.
