I know this tournament conflicts with another on the same weekend, sorry! It was unavoidable.
But we have so many players from the Houston area that have supported us over the years, and we wanted to extend a special invitation to you all once again.
We are working to make this the biggest and best LOSO yet. Please visit our website for more details...

Hope you can join us.
Thanks!

Klein Park, see attached.
The PDGA Schedule website has finally restored their Advanced Search capability so now you can filter searches by State and Date, among other things.

Great win Matt... looks like you may need a new division with a win margin like that though.

I think it was his adventures on the River that helped him through the weekend, keeping him cool with thoughts of the water. ;)
Good win............and yeah, move up! :p

Looks like the men were separated from the boys all over Texas. Congratulations Matt. I know it doesn't compare to the top spot in the Recreation division of an C-Tier tournament but if you keep practicing, maybe someday . . .

Nice round Matt, SSA looks like 48.9 for that one. Two strokes more and you would had one of the top ten rounds (http://www.pdga.com/documents/best-rated-rounds) since they've been keeping track!

As of right now Randy I have only achieved that feat one time and I believe it was back at Agnes in 02'.
So at this moment you are the one with the advantage on getting the 2nd Rec win since my next title shot will be a while. The 2nd round was in the top 3 rounds I have ever played and Brad Williams was getting mad the whole round because I beat him by 7 and he shot right at 1000.:p
I missed 2 possible birdie holes (I never get these two)but I birdied 2 bonus holes so that evened out. The only real problem was a bogey on the hardest hole out there.I threw a roller for a change trying to be aggressive and while I put it on a real good looking line it hit a rock/stick about 300ft away and jumped 12ft+up and into a clump of trees.
From there I threw a lefty forehand that wasn't too good and left me a 75fter from the schule which I proceeded to throw a nearly perfect anhyzer that skipped of the front into the chains but didn't have enough to stay in. So of the whole round I made 4 25ft putts (2 off knee),1 65fter, and 3 40fters with my only miis the whole round being the 75ft putt for three on the par 4
All I have to say is that after seeing so many perfectish rounds from the likes of Eric, Coda, Nikko, and Nolan itwas nice to actually holdit together for one of my own.

I got to see Matt play the final 9 at Live Oak. His talent is truly amazing. I can't even imagine myself being that good.
I also want to congratulate Nicole (SuperGirl) on winning 1st place in the advanced women's division at Live Oak. This was the 1st time she has ever won the advanced women's division. She has come close before, getting 2nd place 5 times. But this is her 1st win in adv. women.

Congrats to both SuperGirl and Matt. 1st win in Advanced Women huh? So where does she go from here? Test the waters again in advanced to see how she does or try Open Women? Another junior phenom. Matt can relate to that.

Chuck, Nicole has tested the waters of Open, playing up at Kyle!!
A few years from now, when the whole world knows about our gal, Nicole. I'll be able to say I remember when she was a baby and had just started playing at Moffitt. :D
I played with Paige when she was growing up, and BY FAR, Nicole demonstrates skills far above where Paige was at that age. :)
GO Girl!
and Matt, once again..........great golf!
