Hey,
I'm new to Houston. I've never played a course here but I'm looking to try out MacGregor Park. If anyone is free Friday, April 16, and would want to join me get me up to speed let me know.
About me: I started playing Disc Golf in Austin a few years ago and I love it. I'm hoping to meet a few people who love it as much as I do and get in on a few pick up games and tournaments.
If you are free Friday and are interested let me know.

Welcome to the boards, first off. You picked the best place to find out about local tourneys, mini's, and leagues. Also check out Birdshot Houston (www.houstonbirdshot.com)

Can't do it on Bridshot, but if you join DGCourseReview they have a nice scroebook feature.
Welcome High Flying, I can't be there Friday, but if the rain holds off I'm playing Nottingham at 3:30 today. You're welcome to join.

Miller, cough cough, that white putter, errrr ummm is now in the lake at spring valley. I was so happy though because I purchased one of the first run magics in the soft flexibility from the same run as the white one! Hopefully the other one will be there when I return.

Miller,
I'll be at Nottingham at 3:30pm today to join you. Look for a big purple Jeep with a brown soft top. I'm game as long as it isn't pouring down rain. If it's drizzling I'll still show up. I have an itch to play.
Let me know if you still plan to go.

There are always a bunch the regulars out at MacGregor...you shouldn't have much trouble finding some folks to play with out there.

Unless it's pouring look for the red Corolla. :)

Miller,
I must have just missed your last message sent at 2:51pm. I left my place right around that time to play Mozola. It was ok. I had a little trouble navigating it at first but that's part of the fun. Sorry I missed you. I'm sure our paths will cross at some point in time.

Hey Guys,
Also just moved here to Houston from chicago, played my first course today(Wortham Park, 5 mins from the house). Grass still needs mowing although they probably mowed it last week. trying to hook up with some players. I heard Moffit and spring Valley are good courses, well I keep surfing the Forum, see you guys out there, ryan

Taking it you live on the NW side. Give Windwood a try on your way to Spring Valley and there is a 9 hole course called Terramont that is worth a stop after SpringValley (just a few miles away) and if you can sneak into Oak Meadows (private) it's worth a round as well

I had a dream that Oak Meadows was open to the public. I am not sure it is worth sneaking on. The warden is out there in force and she has nothing better to do. I heard she stopped someone as they were leaving and they were there with a resident.
