The initial draft of the parks plan had Miramar Park expanding to 12 holes in the next three years. The latest draft has a more vague "additional holes have been discussed and should likely be added within four to six years." We need disc golfers in the area to come out to City Hall next week to express our interest and support for upgrades to Miramar.
The park took a beating from Ike and a number of holes were affected. We lost a significant number of trees and even today there are dead and dying trees all over the park. Let's show our enthusiasm and support for our course.
