TAT Barbecue Memorial Weekend

On Monday the 30th, Texas Army Trail is having a barbecue plate dinner at 3pm and the mini at 4pm. Barbecue is available at $5/donation/plate. Please come and enjoy some food and disc golf. The mini is $10 with $1 to ace pot, $2 to course development, and $7 to payout. The ace pot is at $58.

Also on Memorial weekend, May 28th and 29th, the course will be closed. So we won’t hold the Sunday mini, and no work on the course Saturday or Sunday.

I want to thank everyone for coming out Monday. The 31 players more than doubled our prior record. The outstanding showing has really energized the work crew to finish the course. We hope to open 2 more holes in a few weeks, and then keep grinding away on the rest.

A big thanks goes out to Chuck for preparing and serving the barbecue. It was delicious!

This weekend, Noble stepped up and sponsored a basket. We only have 9 more baskets to sponsor. Sure $500 is a lot of money, so get together with some friends and sponsor as a team. Your name will be immortalized on one of the most challenging disc golf course in Houston.
