Melissa and I went out to Le Tulle Park on Saturday to take a look at this course. The park is excellent with loads of beautiful trees, a couple of ponds, multiple restrooms and playgrounds for the kids. It's pretty clear that the course isn't fully finished. We didn't find any tee boxes marked initially so we started playing using made up tees and after ten holes, we discovered we were playing the course backwards.

Only about six holes had tees marked. The tee boxes are a bit small and most of them are located about 200-250' from the basket; it's like they picked tee positions to make the course easy. Before you get your hopes up about all the ace potential consider that the baskets are all DISCatcher Sports (http://www.discgolfbasketstore.com/product_images/m/896/Innova-Discatcher-Sport-Disc-Golf-Target__76463_zoom.jpg); not the worst basket for a course but not the best either.

We played through 17 baskets and couldn't find the 18th until we packed up and drove once more through the park and saw two additional baskets we missed. So, it's a 19 hole course for some reason. Maybe one of them is a practice basket (maybe the one near the kid's playground?). We saw a group of guys playing the course towards the end of our round. They told us you can get a map from the Bay City Parks department between 10am and 3pm Monday-Friday.

On a positive note the back of the park has a ball golf course and a club house. The club house features the nicest restrooms I've ever seen on a disc golf course; clean, roomy, private and wallpapered.

I don't know if the course map has been posted. While we enjoyed driving out to Bay City I can't see us going again until it gets cooler.
