Still no Houston area Ace Race events scheduled (that are going to happen)...

Where's Jim??? Brooks club wanted to host an Ace race event showcasing the new course (or at least a portion of it).

Isn't Matt Hall and Robbie B. both sponsored by Discraft? And Emily? And Neal?

Phenom was the guy that always made these happen. Since he has been a papa I think his priorities have changed a bit. Matt should totally step up to the plate! Right, Kid?

Well I'm sure one of the discrafters will host a Houston ace race, but if you'd like come on out and play the Golden Triangle Ace Race October 11, 2008. We will be hosting it at the newly finished 18 hole Claibourne Park just 10 miles east of Beaumont on I-10.

I we'd have just piped up and supported Matt's efforts to organize one earlier we'd have one on the books. Now it's gone.

Ditto on that one, Patrick! Although I can see Matt not wanting to spend out of pocket money when he wasn't sure how many would show up.

If Birdshot wasn't holding a tournament that same day, I'd be there in a heartbeat. Unfortunately we're holding the You Don't Know Jack Brooks event on October 11 in Hitchcock. Hopefully someone local will host one this year.
