Everyone should wish dixon some happy thoughts. He is ruling his first round out there. He's 6 down after hole 12.

Looks like the last six holes tore him up, good luck to all the Texas players.

Yeah looks like 13 pretty much ruined his round. That's a really rough hole. Still even is not a bad place to be. He's still up on a lot of people with a lot of golf to play. McCabe and Bratten are both a stroke behind him i believe. Nikko is a phenom.

13 is a really tough hole. The inbounds line is a little over 500-600 foot right curving landing area that runs along an ob street. It's not very wide and trees are planted at an annoying interval the hole route. Then the "green", is across the street. It's ridiculous. Fun, but ridiculous.

He is playing on a fantastic card today with Dave Greenwell and Joe Mela. Both long time and great players. He would be way at the top of the list except for that 1 hole yesterday.
Other than that though, what a round! The entire USDGC website is really cool. The photo gallery slide shows are awesome to watch. Some of the best dg pics I've ever seen. Good luck today Dixon and Robbie!!
