HFDS Membership

I play in the Macgregor League on Wednesday nights. On the first day of league, I paid my league fee and also paid the fee for joining HFDS. It has been 6 weeks now and I haven't heard anything about my membership.

Can someone help me out here? Am I supposed to get a number?

Find whoever's LD for that league and PM them...it does take a while to get the information updated and a number issued. Don't laugh, I think it took almost a year to get mine.

I sent him a note a while back and this was his reply

"With all the time put in on States, he is probably behind on memberships. I will ask him at the meeting tonight and let you know"

Hey Tyler...

The membership stuff is my responsibility and I've let myself get WAY behind on this stuff. Please accept my apology.

I'll see about spending some time this weekend trying to scare up all of the various e-mails and spreadsheets with renewals and new memberships on them and see if I can get it all caught back up.

I used to be in the habit of doing it once a week but I got out of that habit across the winter leagues because there is never any new activity.

I won't get a chance to even start on it until Friday night at the soonest though...if I don't get it caught up this weekend, then I'll be out of state for a couple of weeks on my honeymoon.

Uhhh...sure Lyle but it isn't gonna happen for a couple of weeks. I'm leaving soon for a 2 week honeymoon/vacation and I'm slammed until then.

I will get back on this stuff once I'm back...then, as the saying goes, the honeymoon will be over. This has been a wild year so far...at least 2 major event weekends every month since January. Moffitt Show, State Doubles, Warm-up for States, States, my B-day, wedding, two trips to NC to visit Melissa's ailing uncle and now the honeymoon and Las Vegas.

Oh well...all of my "dust" should be settled once I get back.

Speaking of the Moffitt Show, I need the results so those folks who signed up for SN points can get their credit and I can send the money to those folks.
