Carve Your Tombstone at McDade
The info for the Kingwood substitution tournament is finally here.
We will have a non-sanctioned "Tombstone" style tournament on August 8th at McDade. It will consist of 2 rounds of limited stroke disc golf. Each division will be assigned a certain number of strokes to play the course. The person in each division that makes it through the most holes, wins. There will not be online sign-ups, but you can let me know via email or PM that you plan to attend. There is a 90 person cap, but I doubt that will be an issue. The cost is standard Birdshot fees and amateur payout will be handled by Disc Golf Consultants. This will count toward the Birdshot series points and the series ace pot will apply.  Sign-ups will be open from 7:30 to 8:30a.m. and the player's meeting (which will be very important for rule info, since this is not a standard format) will start at 9 a.m. Live long and prosper... see you out there.

This one sounds like fun...something new & different! I might have to almost play my rating for that one....not novice though (even though that's still, unfortunately, my rating!)...I'll have to play up to Rec (and probably still get called a bagger!).

Not any action on the board about this one.....it IS tomorrow, so we hope a lot of you are going to show up! If so, please bring small bills (as usual) and don't wait til the last minute to sign up....we'd like to stop sign-ups at 8:30 sharp! I think this is going to be a lot of fun...we'll see how many make it!

That's what I was saying in my post from earlier! McDade usually attracts a crowd, but I wonder if people are freaking out about the format? Sounds like fun to me....come on out, anyway!
