Unfortunately, C.J. has a cross-country meet in The Woodlands Saturday morning. So he and Rick won't be playing. C.J. definitely would rather play disc golf than run a hard two miles! This is the last regular-season meet; the district meet is next Friday. He will be so happy when the season is finally over!!

Thanks for continuing to run these monthly Minis. They're a good time!

Thanks for coming to them! There have been a couple of them where only one or two other people showed up....then there have been a couple where there were 25 to even over 50 (at Miramar earlier this year!). We like doing the minis....it gives everybody a chance to check out new or remote courses that they might not normally get to play...and it just seems the natural thing to do with nine hole courses. Thanks for your help with the alternates Saturday....that one hole around the corner & over the water was crazy!!! Keith Michaelis & I had lunch at Cane's & then played Imperial Park after....we played the shorts & then the longs & I ended up +8....not that bad for me considering the longs...I think that's the best I've shot there.

Billy, great mini. Even though I had a few rough holes (over the water) it was a good time had by all. I did like most of the alternates which nicely rounded out the course for an event like this. No bias intended ;-) Thanks to you and Birdshot for organizing!
