Adding another 9 holes

Wasn't there some plans a while back to add another 9 -holes to this course? Also, I thought that the number 9 basket was going to be put up on hill?

Just my opinion, but I think Terramont is a great 9 hole course as it stands, I usually play through it twice and each time I reach hole #9 My scorecard welcomes the birdie or ace opprotunity it offers

I don't think you could fit 9 more quality holes in this park and stay out of the other park users way as it is set up today.

Having played it once I think I agree. Alt tees might be a possibility, but another nine baskets seems like a stretch.

there are many acres of forest available behind and to the side of this course. we arent talking about squeezing more holes in on the hill itself.

I was out at Terramont last week and talked to Dave Holles, park ranger, and from what he understands, Willie is interested in the expansion of the course to 18 holes. I would hope they hire the same people who did the first 9 holes because they did an awesome job so far.

Thank Brother Jake from Jack Brooks for that design! Maybe some of the North folks could head down to Hitchcock and pitch in on their second course, as I sure Jake won't be available until that little venture is finished.

Good point! I plan on going down there when the Conroe league takes a break. I think he said theres a workday in mid Sept.

The last hole was designed as an island hole with an 18" stone wall surrounding the green. You make it on cool; you don't, you shoot from the drop zone and take a stroke. Too bad they didn't build it.
