Default "Merry Christmas" phone call...

So on December 20th I get this phone call from a "Blocked number." The dialog goes something like this:

Me: Hello?
Them: Is David Miller there?
Me: This is him.
Them: Hey, I found your frisbee at Bear Branch. It was just laying in the middle of the fairway.
Me: (Thinking I haven't lost a frisbee at Bear Branch in over 4 years...) That's cool! Thanks for calling me.
Them: So, um, can I keep it?
Me: Well, I'd like to have it back, but I guess I can't stop you.
Them: Thanks! Merry Christmas! <Click>

I sat there dumb-founded for about 3-5 minutes. Couldn't believe that someone called basically to tell me they have my disc and they're keeping it. I tried calling Sprint to see if they would give me the number, but they said no, not without the police involved. As for their story I'm not sure what disc it was or if they were really even at Bear Branch. I suppose someone else could have found my disc and then lost it at Bear Branch or they just lied about where they were. So anyways, if anyone happened to be at Bear Branch on Dec 20 or see a disc with my name on it let me know.

That's actually a pretty funny story!

Discs found a BB are never seen again!

I found one the other day, called the owner & he said to keep it. I gave it to a couple noobs on te next hole. (one of those funky dimpled Quest discs)

I can have a look at Woody's stack for any w/your name. (he is a diver that re-sells plastic at the course)

Merry Christmas
