Does anyone know what type of wood they used there to build those really cool looking barrier walls at some of the tboxes to protect them from incoming throws, I'd like to build a wall to protect the number11 box at Windwood from drives coming out of #4. And were could I get some of that wood. Thanks if you know...

They looked like some type of Cypress or pine variation, but I'm leaning towards like a Bald Cypress since I believe it's those that are all over the course. Either or, there was no creosote or anything done to preserve the wood, so we'll see how long they last.
Why not do rail timbers instead like you already have by hole #3? Sure, it's not as pretty, but they're garunteed to last a while. my .02

Not 100% sure about the type of wood, I'm thinking it's Cedar or Western Juniper which grows in the park. I do know that the wood all came from clearing that was done during the course improvements, it wasn't brought in from outside the park.

Then most definitely the wood product in question is Juniperus virginiana (Eastern Red Cedar).
