It was originally designed and built by Don Wilchek, Brian Chancey and myself. Though I guess it was a little tough for casual players and someone redesigned the course. I haven't played it in long while but the map I saw of the course looked like it is all wide open. I don't even think the back nine is still in. The front nine used to be pretty tight, three holes really tight, but that was something we did not have in Houston at the time and we thought it would be a good idea. There were fairways to the baskets, not wide on the tough three, but fairways. If you could throw straight for 260' six feet off the ground they were easy to birdie. It was a cool little course nothing super special, but now I don't know.

it was a fun night course when I lived down the road! Well lit and one could play from hole four to five down at the corner making it one heck of a long hole with the road coming into play. I saw captain america hit a black ace on this hole. Priceless! if we would have been playing the actual course he would have had a legitimate ace! I miss that place as you had the entire course to yourself at night. $$$$ is the culprit as there is retail space where the course was or is going to be there... tax free to boot!

the old design no longer exist. The back nine was pretty cool and had some long shots.

You can check out the DGCR page here:

I heard somewhere that some work/movement was done on a couple holes since I made the map back in April. Definitely nine holes now.
