Default pros and cons.

been awhile since i was totally involved in the local golf scene. but there is one thing on my mind about this years texas states. why in the world would you have this tourney at that dump for a side of town that its in? having it out at tombass to me is so much better in everyway imaginable. not trying to slam anyone or judge but it really doesnt make much sence to me. if you wanted to include another course like done when the bayou was played during the tourney then that maybe ok to play another course.

I too am worried about how things will work out this year and feel that States may play second fiddle to US Masters.

I mean it is a week earlier and doesn't even have a thread on the PDGA site or a registration list while Masters is almost full.

BTW I foresee a lot more complaining from the MPO guys than the MPMs......

I wish States was at an Awesome course......in Austin or Dallas....

He was trying to figure out what your sentence meant, not disputing using the Bayou course when circumstantially necessary. Which is one of the reasons for the shift to Brooks this year. There is not a better set of courses in the area that can take over with Bass being in such need of repair and the club stretched so thin with the Texas swing. With a very active scene at Brooks we can let Jake and company handle the course prep and let us handle the other parts of an NT. If you haven't played the new course down there yet I really suggest that you fo so before you make a judgement on the legitimacy of Brooks hosting states. With concrete hopefully starting to go in this afternoon on the new course, it will step forward and shine as a jem in Houston courses.

Does it take a disc golf historian to decipher such a poorly constructed jumble of words? Can the Indiana Jones of disc golf translate it for those of us who speak English?
